THE CHAI CLUB

Create a continuous source of “Chai – life” for Chabad of hall county with a monthly donation

Every Chabad house is an individually funded center. Chabad of Hall County does not receive funding from the central Chabad offices and every dollar of our budget needs to be raised – which is why we’re so grateful for donors like you.

Chabad of Hall does not charge membership fees or require membership to participate in events and programs. We believe in an open-door policy, where everyone is welcome regardless of affiliation, background or financial status.  Yet we still have rent, salaries and bills to pay. Thank G‑d, Chabad has grown and our budget has grown.

We pride ourselves in operating an extremely lean organization and stretching every dollar. But still, we depend on donors like you!

With your consistent monthly donation, we have a foundation that serves as the lifeline in all we do.

Join a greater good – your donation, together with all other Chai Club members, adds up to a significant amount.

Strengthen the focus – with a set amount to rely on, we can put more of our focus on the community.

Enable growth – by giving us the ability to predictably plan for future programs or initiatives.

Did you know?

Rambam (Maimonides) writes that giving on repeat is better than a one-off sum – even if it will be the same dollar total – because by giving on a regular basis, we become givers. It changes the nature of who we are.
— Commentary to Mishna Avot 3:15

The repeated action gives us the repeated merits of the mitzvah. When you join the Chai Club, every month, you unlock the blessings that tzedakah brings.

 F. A. Q’s:

Is there a minimum donation amount to become a Chai Club member?

> While there are different donor “tiers,” we welcome donations of every size because every dollar adds up to make a huge difference.

Can I change my monthly donation amount?

> Definitely! If you ever want to adjust your donation, you can reach out and we’ll process the change before your next donation goes through.

How long does the monthly commitment last?

> Once you become a Chai Club member, your card will be charged monthly. You have the option to cancel or adjust at any point – we understand that people’s capacity changes and appreciate your commitment no matter how long it is.

Can I give anonymously?

> Of course. If you don’t want to be featured on the honor roll, simply choose “anonymous” when setting up your donation. Your name will not be featured in any public location.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

> Yes. Your donations are 100% tax-deductible. We will send you a receipt at the end of every calendar year for your total donation amount.

When will my card be charged?

> Typically, we process Chai Club donations on the 1st. However, if you prefer a different date, reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate, G–d willing.

I have another question.

> We’d be happy to discuss it with you. Feel free to reach out at rabbi@jewishhall.com and we’ll be in touch, G-d willing.
