Saved To Tell My Story

The Life of Holocaust Survivor George Rishfeld

As an infant in Nazi-occupied Poland, George Rishfeld's life began with an act of extraordinary courage. Thrown over the barbed-wire fence of the Vilna Ghetto into the waiting arms of a young woman named Halinka, George was saved in a moment that would define the rest of his life.

At great personal risk, Halinka and her family hid and raised George throughout the war, protecting him from the horrors of the Holocaust and ensuring his survival. Today, George shares his remarkable story of rescue, resilience, sacrifice, and hope.

Join us for a powerful and unforgettable afternoon as George presents his firsthand testimony, offering a deeply personal perspective on one of history's darkest chapters and the extraordinary courage that can emerge even in the face of unimaginable evil.

This special event is an opportunity to hear directly from a Holocaust survivor, preserve the memory of those who perished, and help ensure that these vital stories continue to educate and inspire future generations.
